The problem

Why we built this.

If you've ever spent twenty minutes trying to mount your bike on a trainer, swearing at a 12mm thru-axle that won't align with a quick-release skewer - you know the feeling. We made this adapter because we lived that feeling every week. Hardened steel, brass bushing, the kind of part you forget about in the best way.

What you actually get

Core value, in plain language.

01

10-second mount

Drop the bike in, feel the click. No swearing at axle standards at 6am.

02

Hardened steel, brass bushing

Built for daily use. The kind of part you forget you own - in the best way.

03

One adapter, every trainer

Wahoo KICKR, Tacx Neo, Elite Direto, Saris H3 - same adapter, same install.

04

Forgiving of torque

Forgotten to fully tighten? Still safe. We tested the failure modes for you.

Finally, a trainer that doesn’t fight me

I used to fight my KICKR for 15 minutes every Zwift morning. This adapter goes in once and stays put. Wish I bought it two winters ago.

Builds confidence

The brass bushing feels expensive. The 10-second mount means I actually ride at 6am instead of setting my alarm for 5:30.

Works, but pack is light

Adapter is great. The instruction card could be a full sheet of paper - I had to look up the torque spec online. Doesn’t change the rating though.

FAQ

Answers to the questions we hear most.

The four questions riders ask before buying, in one place.

Fit & compatibility

Will the ROAMVUE Trainer Adapter fit my Wahoo KICKR v5 / v6?
Yes. The adapter ships with endcaps for 130 mm QR, 135 mm QR, 142x12 mm thru-axle, and 148x12 mm Boost - every axle standard the KICKR v5, v6, Core, and Snap use.
What about a 12x150 mm fat-tire bike?
For 12x150 mm spacing, use our fat-tire spacer pack (sold separately). 12x190 / 12x197 mm spacing is outside the adapter’s coverage - email us and we’ll recommend a compatible trainer.

Using it

How much torque should I use?
5 Nm on each side. The adapter is designed to be safe even if you forget to fully tighten - we tested the failure modes extensively.
Can I leave the adapter installed?
Yes. Most riders leave it in. It will not damage the trainer.

Care & longevity

Do I need to lubricate it?
No. The brass bushing is self-lubricating. Just keep it dry and free of grit.

After-sale support

What if my axle standard isn’t listed?
Email support@roamvue.com with your bike make, model, and axle standard. We’ll confirm within 24 hours whether the adapter fits or recommend an alternative.
