Returns and warranty.
Effective 2026-10-27
The warranty on a ROAMVUE product is the one stated on its Amazon listing, and a return is started in your Amazon order. This page sets out both.
1. The short version
Each product carries its own warranty period, listed below and on the Amazon listing. The product listing is the authoritative version — if this page and the listing ever disagree, the listing wins.
2. Warranty period by product
| Product | Warranty | Sold by |
|---|---|---|
| KICKR Thru Axle Adapter Kit | 1-year manufacturer defect warranty | ROAMVUE, on Amazon |
| TICKR FIT Replacement Straps 4-Pack | 30-day manufacturer defect warranty | ROAMVUE, on Amazon (currently unavailable) |
| MTB Pedals— not yet on sale | Not published - it will be stated on the listing when it opens | Not on sale yet - no listing open |
| Front Light— not yet on sale | Not published - it will be stated on the listing when it opens | Not on sale yet - no listing open |
The warranty period for a product bought on Amazon is the one stated in its Amazon listing, and it runs from the delivery date shown in the Amazon order record. If you receive a replacement issued by Amazon, the period is calculated from the original delivery date, not the replacement date.
3. What the warranty covers
- Defects in materials under normal intended use.
- Defects in workmanship under normal intended use.
- Functional failures that occur in the use the product is described for.
4. What the warranty does not cover
- Damage from crashes, impacts or improper installation.
- Cosmetic damage — scuffs, scratches, anodising wear — that does not affect how the product works.
- Normal wear of consumable parts, including heart-rate strap fasteners, pedal cleats and charging cables.
- Use outside the product's intended purpose, including submerging a light beyond its rated depth or duration.
- Products bought from a seller other than Amazon or ROAMVUE, because we cannot confirm they are genuine.
5. Making a claim
- Go to your Amazon order history and start a return or a message to the seller on that order. Amazon is the route that produces a refund, so start there.
- Describe the failure. A short photo or video of the fault speeds things up considerably.
- We will look at it and come back to you through Amazon. We aim to answer within a few working days; we do not publish a guaranteed response time.
- If the claim is accepted, the resolution — replacement, refund, or repair, as applicable under the Amazon listing — is carried out through Amazon.
6. What we do not commit to
We want to be straight about the limits of this policy.
- We do not promise free return or replacement postage, and we do not pay duty or shipping on a warranty claim unless the Amazon listing for that item says so.
- We do not promise a replacement is shipped within any particular number of days.
- We do not extend the warranty period beyond the term stated above, and we do not offer a separate extended plan.
- The warranty covers the product. It does not cover damage caused to other equipment, or loss of use, in either direction.
7. Returns and warranties are two halves of the same thing
A warranty claim is a return that goes wrong on the way. If a product arrives damaged, or does not do what its listing says, you start it in your Amazon order and it becomes a warranty claim with us. Section 8 sets out the returns process; the sections above set out what the warranty covers.
8. Returns
Returns and refunds are the same subject as the warranty, so they are on this page too. The short version: start the return in your Amazon order history, Amazon routes the request to us, and we authorise and process the refund.
8.1 The short version
Start the return in your Amazon order history. Amazon routes the request to us, we authorise and process the refund, and the money goes back to the card or account you paid with. You do not need to send anything to a ROAMVUE address, and there is no separate returns desk to argue with.
8.2 Where to start
Open your Amazon order history, find the item, and choose Return or replace items. The window, the options and any postage cost are shown on that page for that specific product. The window that applies is the one on your order, and it is the window on the listing - we do not shorten it.
If the button is not there, or the item is not eligible, email us at support@roamvue.com with your order number and we will sort it out directly.
8.3 Who is the seller
ROAMVUE is the brand that makes these products, and ROAMVUE is the seller named on the Amazon listings for them. Amazon provides the storefront, takes the payment and, for these items, ships them from its own fulfilment network. When you buy one of these products, your contract is with ROAMVUE, and Amazon operates the shop you buy it in.
Amazon applies its own rules on returns, refunds and buyer protection, and it handles the payment side. We handle the product side: the authorisation, the decision, and the refund itself.
8.4 Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, report it through the same Amazon order, and attach photos - it usually settles in one step. If Amazon asks us for more detail we will respond, and a photo or a short video usually resolves it faster.
Where the listing shows a warranty, it applies to the product itself - see our Warranty Policy for the current terms per product.
8.5 Refunds
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Amazon usually processes the refund as soon as the return is authorised, and the time it then takes to appear on your statement is set by your bank, not by us.
Where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, the cost of sending it back is not yours to pay. That cost sits with us, because we are the seller. In every other case the postage rules are the ones shown on your Amazon order page.
8.6 What we do not do
- We do not issue store credit, and we do not ask you to accept credit instead of a refund.
- We do not set a return window that is shorter than the one on your Amazon order.
- We do not ask you to ship anything to a private or third-party address. Everything goes through Amazon.
- We do not change the price after you order, and we do not charge you for the return of a faulty or incorrect item.
9. Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to, and does not replace, any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection law where you live. Where a term here conflicts with such a right, the law of your country applies.
10. Contact
Start a claim through your Amazon order. If you need to talk to us about the product, email support@roamvue.com. That is the only mailbox we monitor, for product questions and for anything about this page.
